A virtual class is an online learning experience where you connect with your instructor and classmates online instead of being together in a traditional classroom. Our virtual classes are held using Microsoft Teams — and you can join from your workspace or anywhere with a reliable internet connection!
• Live (Synchronous) Sessions: These are real-time classes where everyone logs in at the same time. Your instructor will teach, answer questions, and lead discussions — just like in person.
• Assignments and Participation: You’ll complete assignments, quizzes, and projects online. Participation may also include discussion boards and group work.
• Communication: Instructors are available via email, class messages, or during virtual office hours to support your learning.
• Your government computer with camera and microphone/headset
• Stable internet connection
• A quiet space to focus and participate
• A flexible but structured learning environment
• Clear communication and support from your instructors
• Opportunities to engage with classmates through discussions and group activities
• Tools and resources to help you succeed
We know that virtual learning might be new to some of you, but don’t worry — we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Whether it’s your first virtual class or your fifth, we’re excited to learn with you and help you reach your goals!
