This asynchronous course intends to prepare new ACS specialists & professionals with the skills to determine appropriate information and referral services to Soldiers, Retirees, Families, Survivors, and Civilians to promote adaptability, self-reliance, and readiness. The ACS Specialist is the initial point of contact for all ACS services and must be knowledgeable about all ACS services. The course will focus on Resources, Case Management, Administrative Responsibilities, and Professional Development by applying adult learning theory and the instructional Online Lecurette, Job Aids, Scenarios, Videos, and Guided Research.
