This course will provide CYS professionals with the definition of suicidal ideation and how to identify the risk factors, warning signs, and reporting procedures of suicidal ideation so they can act quickly to support children/youth. In addition, they will be able to identify protective factors to proactively implement developmentally appropriate intervention strategies that help decrease risk and increase the health and well-being of children/youth.
