4 Child and Youth Services Training Specialists from 22 garrisons and DLA gathered at the MWR Academy for the CYS Training Specialists Advanced Course. This intensive, one-week classroom course is designed for seasoned Child and Youth Services (CYS) Training Specialists looking to enhance their impact to the MWR team members, families, and children they support. Participants developed advanced skills in creating effective training solutions, leveraging influence models, and problem-solving real-world CYS scenarios. They focused on building competencies to better support leadership priorities and advise Facility Directors, directly improving the quality of CYS programs for the families of Army Soldiers and Civilians. This course empowers trainers to lead positive change, sustain quality programming, and ensure the best possible services for children and youth at their garrisons.
