Course Description:

NAF-CON 100 provides an initial foundation in the skills and competencies essential for success in the NAF Contracting career field. This in-residence course delivers a comprehensive overview of the acquisition process and equips students with the core concepts, knowledge and professional skills needed throughout their careers as contracting professionals. Course topics include:

·         Understanding NAF Acquisition Regulations

·         Contracting Lifecycle

·         Acquisition Principles

Target Audience:

NAF Contracting workforce members within the job series 1101 and 1102.

Course Structure:

This in-residence course combines interactive lectures, practical exercises, case studies, and group discussions to reinforce learning.  Some pre-course work may be required.
